First week
This first week we have started with the cooperation project on the field. When we arrived, we started learning how the residence students' room was organized: how many computers there were, the Internet connection, etc.
On Monday, the first cours day, we had almost all the computers ready to work with. So, the first we did was the operative system introduction, which was quite easy to adapt to. Now we are working with the office tools: starting on Monday presenting us with the LibreOffice Writer, on Tuesday we did presentations of the recipe of the students' favourite food with LibreOffice Impress and today we did graphics and calculs with the LibreOffice Calc.
During the mornings we teach the cours of informatic introduction, so during the afternoon we are going on with the others parts of the project. On Monday we installed the kit to control the photovoltaic station and on Tuesday we had a reunion to detail the payment management application. Besides, every day we are repairing computers: we are installing Ubuntu, other programs that are missing and detecting which are their problems; we also do tests with the networks connections to improve the connectivity.

To end up with the cours this first week we learnt how to find information with kiwix, a local Wikipedia offline, and also on the Internet. To test it, the students answered questions about their facorite animal. Then with the LibreOffice Writer they wrote the information they had found and with the LibreOffice Impress they prepared a presentation to present it the next week.
Today, SUnday, we wnt tot the little village of Mbackombel. There, mainly, we have set up the photovoltic station od the school. At Mbackombel we played with the children of the town, we visited the school and the village. The Mbackombel school is a project of the PUSE Foundation that allows many children of Mbackombel and around them to receive an education rather than being working.
